O2 Sensor replacemt
I know that this has been posted several times, but the search would not let my use "O2" so...
What is a good replacement O2 sensor that is cheaper than $192.00?
(Please include part numbers if you have them)
Thanks,
Dan

I too am using a Taurus 3.0l O2 sensor in my S2. I just cut the connectors off and spliced the like colored wires (white for the heater, black for the sensor, IIRC) sealed them with heat shrink and covered the splice with electrical tape.
A bad O2 sensor can do a number of things. I think when they get grungy they generally cause your car to run a tad rich, getting poor MPG and blackening the plugs. In my truck I lost 2mpg and started getting a 'check engine' light on long hill climbs but my Porsches don't have a check engine light so I never saw one there. I replaced the sensor on my S2 because it was old and I had the starter out for a belt change anyway so I decided to run out and get one while it was apart.
