Yea, simply amazing .... Way beyond fast ! !
I agree, Chris (that the old fart ) should know plenty on Roy...

What brake setup was Roy running. He was fast everywhere but I was amazed at how many cars he outbraked.

I agree but....
What's really amazing..?
He.....
Out braked
Out ran
Out powered
Out cornered
Out handled
Out maneuvered
and brushed them aside like little toys..... Passing on turn 2 on the inside and going through the esses ! That takes ....Big Ones ....
The HP (weight to power ratio) brakes, tires, and suspension (and of course his driving skill ) just decimated the others....

Ed,
This is cool. This video proves what's been discussed here about 951s vs 930 on a track.

Here is a quick picture of the car in the video. I will also post a video from the car that started next to Roy that weekend.

This is from the car that started next to Roy that race. Story is they had a beer bet on the race... The bet was they would both start from the back of the field and the loser would have to buy the beer at Seneca Lodge that night.

Roys car was build by VCI ( http://www.vehiclecraft.com ) and powered by Jon Milledge .... Both with a open check book.

Brakes- Bigger the Big Reds( Contact Doug at VCI for details if interested)
Grip- Front tires 315/30/18
Rear tires 335/30/18
Power- Milledge- need I say more.... ( Jon still comes out evertime Roy runs the car)
Driver- Anyone how has been on track with Roy and tell you he is unbelievabley fast
When you put all this together you get a spectacle to watch.

Jeff, do you know Roy? When did he stop racing this car? I remember seeing some lap records etc but it all seemed to be from back in the early 2000's. Seeing that pic from the outside of the car says to me that this car ran much more recently as per some of the Aero. Would also explain running the Cup Calipers if that's what he did. I thought he ran BR's back in the day. Love to see more video from Roy too.

Interesting and thanks for posting that. He must have 'come out of retirement' in 2013. Assume GT2R is a pretty fast run group.

Patrick, Yes I know Roy. We service his current car as Milladge has retired.Roy had a violent accident with the car in the video and had to basically build a whole new car.He didn't go in retirement from racing it just took him a while to build the current car.He Also his very demanding work schedule witch has him traveling around the world all the time and not in the states as offen as he wishes.

Does Roy still use the 951 platform with his newly built car? If so, anyone have any pics or vids?

Jeff, that's great to hear (except for big crash!) that he's back. Seeing the results link that was posted there was a big gap in his race dates. It would be very interesting to hear more about his current car. Assuming that it was updated from his earlier one although it depends on how much he could salvage out of the wreck. If I had to guess, it's a 2.6L 8v motor and a 5 speed possibly with shorter final drive. That's a ton of rubber under those guards. Makes me feel like I'm running around on little tricycle tyres!
