Default Slight damage to exhaus wheel. Can it still be used?

So, after the complete disaster with my ruined cylinders, I still keep finding broken stuff on my engine. Today I took apart the turbo, and found some small damages on the exhaust wheel. Must this be replaced, or is it still usable?

Really sorry about your motor. No turbo expert here but no chance I would put that back in without having it checked out and at least re-balanced. I think that wheel is done.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention that Precision apparently do not sell spare parts, and that means shipping it over to Precision. This is more than a little inconvenient when you are located in Norway.

That turbo is dead.
BTW: I was at Ski Motorverksted a few weeks back, and he had a sorry looking block there
But he also had a lot of new parts.
Hang in there!

I'm sorry, but that needs replacement. It cannot be rebalanced. Buy a new turbo to save time, send that one back for repair and sell it afterwards? Do you have any contacts in the states who can keep it for you after the repair until you've sold it?

After paying for a fully built motor installed in the car, and now rebuilding it again, I simply cannot afford a new turbo.

I understand. It really sucks when everything turns against you The builder should of course pay for the turbo, but that will probably take a while.

This turns at approx 100,000 rpm....throw it out and get a new turbine wheel.

How does the housing look? If the clearances are large, you'll have a hard time making pressure.
