Default wheel shipping around states.

Whats the best way, pref. Cheapest to ship wheels around states?

Send them in pairs via USPS parcel post. That was the cheapest route last time I shipped wheels.
You could try Greyhound package express, they might be cheaper but you have to drop off/pickup at a bus station. Apparently Fastenall offers cheap shipping, but I've never used them. Once again, you have to drop off at a Fastenall store and the receiver will have to pick up there.

I found this while searching on google, I would use a few layers of cardboard on the front though, I dont think it'll be too expensive with UPS ground or Fed-ex

Drop them off @ the UPS Store if you don't have a UPS location close by.

Ship them on ups.com 1st or you may pay a premium having the store ship them.

band them in pairs if possible
