Default Will 1984 fuch rims fit my 1988 951?

I am new to the Porsche family(and very excited to learn and enjoy) I have a buddy that is willing to sell me his fuch rims off his non turbo 1984 944 but I don't know if they will fit my 1988 951(non s model). If anyone could give me some insight that would be great! My 951 is stock by the way.
PS I'm only asking cause I know the offset changed at some point(I think in 87 but not sure)

No. The offset changed in 1986. Also the 84' Fuchs most likely will be 15", which would not even clear the brakes.

Now that we're on the topic, I wonder if they clear the 951 brakes on an early offset car, being that the rotors are same diameter as the NA. Ive always wanted to stuff 15X8 fuchs up front...

Lee,

The 15 inch fuchs will not clear the 951 brakes, it is not the rotors, it is the calipers that are the problem. If you look at the 951 fuchs they are different than the 911 / early offset 944 fuchs in that they are clearanced on the back side for the the larger caliper. A small spacer (7mm) would likely be enough to get them to fit.

Thanks Ian.
Ive found that 911 16" fuchs also require a 7mm spacer... 15X8s and 16X9s would be such a sick combo
