Two quick qustions for you:
(1) Do you have a/c?;
(2) What shop have you got working on the conversion?
I'm also in the UK & have the same turbo sitting in a box whilst the last of my parts arrive & my funds hopefully replenish themselves.

I have AC.
I looked at your weather temps up in london. Maximum you've hit was 37 degrees.
In melbourne, that's a nice day. We get up to 40-42 degrees.
So really, you don't need A/C

I'll remove mine & replace it with the LR a/c delete kit - which i'll have to do to fit the dry sump kit.
I'm wondering if the LR a/c delete will get my alternator sufficiently out of the way to bot cause clearance issues with the intake for the GTX. It books like it relocates the alternator to somewhere near the oil pan - does that sound right?

Fast road. In Ashford Kent
Turbo is now fitted. New engine mount and turbo mounted to that. Turbo is moved over to the right a bit and back, easy 4" intake clearance now. Could place turbo deeper and not worry about autonator, but pipe to ic would be longer and need bends.
Iv got ac
Will have to see off everything fits around it, just waiting on aos seals now and tial flanges and clamps.
Had to shorten the trottle body spring as it was over inlet to turbo should give you idea off placement

Sorry tim, they said its better for them to do the full conversion in house.
But you could mount your turbo to existing mount, get someone to come to the car for fab work or even tack it together and get the wielding done at a shop?
