Try Griot's Garage. http://www.griotsgarage.com
I always thought that they were just another overpriced product company targeting high-end auto owners, but I tried some of their stuff a friend had, and I was sold. No affiliation...the usual disclaimers...

Let's review, Cute + 951 and needs a car cleaned. I'll be right over. Just kidding.
Griots is the place most recommend. For wax I like Zaino (only available on the net).

i think we need pics...... of the car, of course
until then, I'll suggest good ol' fashioned elbow grease. And Miguire's High endurance Tire Gel ( gloss or low gloss, what ever floats your boat )

car wash...anything automotive is fine, dont use dishwashing soap,it will strip the wax.
Leather/ vinyl treatment...I'm still looking for something that will last.
Wax: Zymol cleaner / wax is great
Glass cleaner: what ever you like...IF you have aftermarket tint then dont use anything with amonia. I use a cheap foam cleaner from autozone that is safe for tint.
Welcome to the Turbo Crowd...dont let any mechanics take advantage of you

The Porsche kit makes a good gift for someone who likes Porsche "branded" products, assuming they want it for bragging rights. My personal opinion is that its not the best stuff out there, and its over priced for what you get.
Do a search on Google for car detailing tips, you'll get a BUNCH of ideas there.
Welcome on board. Don't let all the hopelessly single guys with poor manners scare you away!
