.. you know you've been to the edge when you drill them for safety wire.

Time to upgrade that 25 year old tired stock wastegate to a Tial and you will need these adapter plates.

Default Help! Tial F38 has metric threads, adapter plates are standard!

I just bought a set of these adapters and am attempting to use them to install a Tial F38. I couldn't figure out why none of the bolts would thread into the plates. Learning that they are standard thread helps, but creates another problem. The Tial has metric threads on the output flange. So I assume I need to drill these threads out on the Tial so I can pass a standard threaded bolt through the flange and into the threads on the adapter plate? I assume everyone else who has installed a Tial has had to do this as well, but I don't recall seeing any mention of this in any of the previous threads.

I must say, it seems very odd to me that these plates would be produced with standard threads, not metric. Oh well.
