You might not want to assume this. Since the CHRA is smaller the entire turbine housing may sit further forward meaning you'll still need to do a few small adaptations to make your exhaust fit. Plus why would you want to use the old crappy K26 housing when newer housings will flow much better? If you're planning for a GT/X turbo then take the time to do the other smaller alterations to make sure you're getting the most out of your several thousand dollar purchase, otherwise just go for a 50trim.

Cost off the fab work vs the gains MIT not be worth it, iv got fabspeed 3" down pipe. Stock exhulst system. So I will get something made up from the down pipe back. Would that eliminated any fitment issues due to turbo sizing?

That'd probably solve some of the fitment issues, but don't forget you've got the crossover pipe to deal with too. IMO the crossover is the more difficult one to manage.

turbotim3 here in the UK has made a larger crossover and downpipe I think, you could ask him to make you some copies.

I personally think if you're going to the trouble of changing turbos and you decide to go with something that requires modifying the hardware, then change the exhaust from stock as well. Do the job once correctly.

The oil drain wont bolt up, once you modify that to bolt up, the exhaust won't line up.
You'll need custom oil lines & water lines + Adapters.
