Iv found some sellers offering gtx turbos with k24 k26 bolt up
Looking to upgrade my 26/8 kkk

You might not want to assume this. Since the CHRA is smaller the entire turbine housing may sit further forward meaning you'll still need to do a few small adaptations to make your exhaust fit. Plus why would you want to use the old crappy K26 housing when newer housings will flow much better? If you're planning for a GT/X turbo then take the time to do the other smaller alterations to make sure you're getting the most out of your several thousand dollar purchase, otherwise just go for a 50trim.

Cost off the fab work vs the gains MIT not be worth it, iv got fabspeed 3" down pipe. Stock exhulst system. So I will get something made up from the down pipe back. Would that eliminated any fitment issues due to turbo sizing?

I personally think if you're going to the trouble of changing turbos and you decide to go with something that requires modifying the hardware, then change the exhaust from stock as well. Do the job once correctly.
