seat rails loose
I have some momo nascar seats mounted on the stock rails with an adaptor.
The problem is that the rails that slide back and forth on the mount are loose.
This leads to the seat moving around a bit under hard driving.
Its very annoying.
Has anyone had this problem?
I took the rails out to look and see if its fixable, but I don't see anyway to "fasten"
the sliding rails on the mount better.
Any ideas?

Here's a couple places that carry seats and rails:

If you cruise down El Camino, Steven Creek or San Tomas in San Jose, there's a tonne of ricer stereo and upgrades places that should have these as well.

Hmmm.. I'm still unsure of what I'm supposed to be looking for.
I have the little adaptors with the three holes and fours holes pictured here:
http://www.upgrademotoring.com/seats...mo_seatacc.htm
Those are on very tight; its the porsche rails that slide back and forth that have play in them.
And yes, it is true, you can only make left hand turns with these seats
It can be tedious at times.

You would be looking for something like this
(hope this works, otherwise this is the link Sliding rails )
You can bolt these directly on the floor, using the existing holes, and screw your side mounts on these again. You would probably need to fill out the difference in width between the console and the seat with some filler discs.
Hope this helps. If not I will make some pictures of my setup.

Ahh.. I see.
A whole new rail sliding system.
It looks lower profile also, so I definately need that.
If anyone knows where to get one, please post
when I mounted my seats I had a choice of where to mount the seats.
Either closer to the center or farther.
I chose farther so I have about a 1 inch gap between the seat and the center console, but it seems fine as it is.
