Since the PO did an A/C delete i the US, and nobody in their right mind would use it without A/C in PR, i decided to reinstall the a/c. So I went with the Sanden Kit.
Questions...
1) What type of refrigerant is it supposed to use (the sanden compr)??
2) Is there a write up to a DIY from scratch gas refill?? and oil??
Thanks in advanced

Where did you find a Sanden kit ? Is it a new old stock or a used kit ?
I have the original installation sheets for this kit (discontinued many years ago) and there's no data about the oïl quantity. The original compressor was a SD 508 unit and the quantity of R12 is 1000 gr.

The valving for R12 is different than R134. If you buy modern kits they should all be designed for R134 refrigerant that all ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
