Does anyone know what the difference is between a 83' hub and a 87' hub for the 944 for fitting a momo steering or similiar wheel? are they interchangable?

They are not the same . it will bolt up however, the horn contact area is different and the turn signal cancel is also not the same.

Thank You. I got a great deal on a used steering wheel and it came with a hub, however I later found out it was taken from a 83 body, guess I’ll be getting a new hub for my 87 944 turbo. Any suggestions on brands or are the hubs all generally the same regardless of the manufacturer? I never installed one of these wheels before, seems pretty straight forward, any tips appriciated.
