By the way, Jim Allen, DNewton3 and ZeeOSix really know their stuff when it comes to filters. If you are searching for more information, looks for posts by them. This is an interesting thread on bypass valve function, realize we use much higher viscosity oil in our engine at a much higher oil pressure. The repeated theme over and over is warm up your engine at idle first to save your engine! This is easier said than done though. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums...90#Post3182190
