That cooler is not a NASCAR engine oil cooler. It has -8 fittings which are too small for our engine use. It's probably a gearbox cooler.
BTW, NASCAR typically uses a oil/water heat exchanger. They are expensive, but have a lot of advantages over a air/oil cooler.

yes, the small units are used for the gearboxes but they should flow fine for his application. on my V8 swap, my cooler; 50-619-7612
measures 11"X 5.75"X2"... Eric was going to use number 10 lines [or possibly 12]... I'm going with his huge radiator and big fans, so i should be fine.

Pretty sure those ones that Chris got were actually made in Australia by PWR. Do you know what oil temps you're seeing Darwin?

Good info thanks, I think I might install oil temp and pressure gauges initially and get a baseline.
Think oil filter adapter that Chris White posted in one of the gauge threads looks pretty good.

All I can really give you would be street temps from driving around town and on the interstate.

Can't remember why I think that but I seem to have a recollection of them being made for Wizard by PWR...might be wrong, it was a while ago. So long as it works for you that's great. Nice and compact.
