Sealant for Itake Fuel Mesh Filter Gasket?
I am curious if anybody has applied some sort of sealant to the red/orange gasket for the in tank fuel filter? I think I read something somewhere about lubricating this before install, but can't remember now. See picture below for gasket in question.

Found it, good 'Ole Clark's Garage:
13.Install a new O-ring seal on the strainer. Coat the seal with a small amount of moly grease to lubricate the seal. This will keep it from binding and getting cut or abraded during installation.

Hey Eddie, I don't remember but think it was cheap. If I don't remember, it must have been cheap. For sure under a $100. Won't be much on this car that is not brand new soon!
