help needed on drive ability issues!
the issue this week seems to be the car will drive fine and i stop and get gas. when i go to re-start it wont idle, if i step on accelerator it coughs and chokes. as i slowly push accelerator above 3k rpms it seems to clear out. but when i let off accelerator rpms stay up and i have to use clutch and motor to bring them back down. i have a maf setup and 55lb injectors.i recently replaced cap and rotor, coil. today was the second time this happened. last time barely made it home. tried it today and ran great till i stopped. any thoughts or ideas on troubleshooting. another question i have is it possible to run 18lbs boost and not have oil leaks. recently had motor rebuilt and now leaking multiple places. told by shop that anything over 12lbs im gonna overboost.thanks again for the help.

Start by fixing what you said leaks, the PS. Get new hoses and rebuild the pump.
Rebuild is easy to do once you get the pump off the car. You can get a kit and a video from here:

Please keep me updated John. I also checked your wp procedure on the 308.. doesnt require any special tools , but the pumps can freeze on the block via the steel mounting studs.
