Well, after having it sit in my garage for about 6 months, I now have my cat bypass pipe installed on my car. I tried to do it myself, but after fighting with a few stubborn exhaust bolts, I had a local shop do it.
My first impression is awesome. The turbo kicks in sooner and the car has noticeably more pick-up. Not night and day difference, but you can definitely feel it. The car is only slightly louder and I do not get a strong odor of exhaust.
I thought I would share my experience, in case someone was considering doing the same thing.

Your timing couldn't be better! I like knowing the sound won't be much more because I am planning on changing my muffler this week and might as well do that as well!
Thanks and good luck in the future!
