Hey Guys, I was poking around under the hood today and noticed that my Turbo Water Pump relay was missing. Is this bad? I eventually found it in a box of parts from the mechanic and after plugging it back in I see why it was removed. Once the car is shut off the pump doesn't stop. Has anyone had a problem like this? is there an easy fix or do I just need a new relay?

You need a new relay. And it's bad to leave it out.

You might be able to take apart the relay and reflow the solder pads. This worked for me on the DME relays.

Actually, 2 days ago I did take the relay apart, cleaned all the crud (technical term) I could find and when I put it back everything worked perfectly. I have started and shut off the car about 12 times since then and each time it worked flawlessly.

Good to hear! I would still consider reflowing the solder pads as extra protection. Very simple to do.
