Have not posted for a while but had a bit of work to do on the 86 recently. The stock fuel system started leaking which was bad. Upgraded to the LR rail kit to stop leaks and made custom lines. So far so good and I feel much less paranoid knowing an unexpected gas puddle on the head will not ruin the day. I cannot wait until cruising through cold october air with the newer turbo now that bullcrap repairs are done!

It is a Turbonetics t57. Compared to k26 it has become an awesome highway car able to boost way better in 4k+ range on the top end. Switching to 3" intake opens the door for so many things I now need to install a lot more mods to assist low end response.
Totally different car now and was really worth it considering I was almost going to sell it and buy a viper a few months back. Opted to keep going with the porsche 4 cyl turbo instead because it makes more damn sense than a 10 cylinder gas bomb. I think the 4cyl turbo is uber efficient and worth every effort over larger engines for longer cruising purposes and overall agility. Like v8 /10, love 4cyl turbo.
