Default Koni Yellows - what to do?

I have Koni Yellows (M474) that came with the car. Yesterday while cleaning the suspension and checking my front wheel bearings I noticed that when I tugged on the strut there was a slight rocking of the wheel. Pretty sure there should be zero movement. There are no leaks and the car seems to drive fine, but the suspension is probably tired and in need of a refresh.

I know Koni can rebuild the struts and that is an option, but I'm not sure I want the car down for what I'm hearing could be up to a few months, so what I would like to know is what is an aftermarket equivalent or upgrade that I can buy off the shelf while sending the Koni's out to get rebuilt for resale or future use?

I know there are tons of posts on this, and I have done a brief look, but nothing that answers my specific question.

There is tons of info in this, price point and the intended use, ie street/track. Change your wheel bearing if they are bad, is cheap and tutorials on youtube.
