Both Tony and Duke have a more modern and stronger setup than the pressed arms. Liked HansB's setup too. Although not entirely sure how much his dealt with bump steer.

Still like to see a comparison between stock and what you have Tim?

I'm no engineer but I have done my fair share of prototype stuff and to me, this just doesn't look very strong. The amount of side load on the pickup with the lower control arm is going to be very high due to the fact that extension is acting as a lever making that load exponentially higher with little support.

If the spindle was bored and that piece fit inside the spindle then welded I still doubt it will support the load on it. How many Fabcar pins or Charlie arm bolts have sheared over the years without the lever effect that piece has? A lot.

I would like to see this and a standard one tested to destruction on a rig to see how they both compared. It's a lot of years since I was a fabricator welder but it doesn't look like those wedges are very thick or there's much of a weld there.
