Steer feel changed after resealing the PS rack
Hi,
Ive replaced all seals in the rack and put it back on the car.
No oil leaks, all looks good at least.
However, the feel with and without power steering assistance is different now. There is more resistance no matter left or right turning.
I havent put it onto the ground yet, so it´s still on jack stands, but still ... What could be wrong. Or is this "natural" after reseal that there is more effort required?
The only thing I can come up with that was different when reassmbly the rack was that the "ball bearing" washer fitted between the brown plastic ball bearing and flat washer had to be driven in by force.
Any advise is appreciated what could be the issue.

There's actually a plate on the front of the steering rack with two 10mm bolts on it (and maybe a ground wire iirc) which can be tightened or loosened to change pressure on the steering rack.
