Nope, I want to keep my a/c and CEP has a design that lets you keep your a/c and per Omni let you go back to the old alternator if necessary. That's the one I want. I've marked up the alternator bracket I got from you, but as has been mentioned before looks like a lot of grinding to be done. I prepared to do it if Dave remains stealth, but...

 

Modifying the stock bracket is very easy at any decent machine shop with an end mill. You will be done in 30 minutes.

 

Chatted with Dave @ CEP this morning, mentioned this thread to him. He said he's had someone email him a couple times via the web form on his website - but whoever it is, the email address they enter in is invalid. He said he tried again this morning to respond.

zerMatt and mtnman - not sure which one of you it was but you might want to check your email if it was you (and make sure you're entering in the email address correctly if you don't have something waiting from him).

 

It was me and I've been with a couple of my kids in Yosemite the past ~week. I'll try again and double-check the address - not sure how I could've fat fingered it twice. Thanks Jim!!!
