I'm really interested in more details about the noise associated with the polybronze spring plate bushings. I bought a set, but haven't finished installing them. I picked up an extra set of spring plates so that I could prep all the work in advance and make the swap a lot shorter/simpler, so they're basically ready for installation. As far as I can tell, the only movement is the rotational movement between the greased bronze surface of the inner and outer bushing. The polyurethane jacket does not move at all, right? How would that create any noise? According to ER's website: "The combination delivers zero squeaks and friction-free suspension movement."

Probably not worth checking on the price for factory new, as it would require purchasing the entire spring plate assemblies ($$$), and may no longer even be available.
If the factory rubber is shot/worn out, you will want to go with an aftermarket bushing, or try to find a known good used pair of spring plate assemblies. If the original bushings still look good, go ahead and re-use them.

Elephant Racing also sells replacement rubber bushings for the spring plate (actually a full kit with adhesive, plus you can separately purchase a tool to remove the old rubber bushings), and you know can count on them having quality parts.

JMJ951: I have no noise with the ER polybronze bushings. I am using a waterproof marine grease. A lot of work to change, but I am Very happy with results. Mike
