Default Upstaging a 930 slantnose

Last Sunday there was a Show and Shine at the local drive inn. I was parked with my hood up next to a sweet black slantnose 930. I was talking with my mechanic and he and the owner of the 930 were talking about some old race stories. He was talking about his 924 GTR and how it kept blowing motors up. He complained to Porsche and they sent a semi truck with 20 shortblocks for him. I thought he was just talking smack, until I asked my mechanic," who was that guy"? Bruce Leven, Bayside Porsche's driver from the 80's. If everyone knew who he was, my car wouldn't have got half the attention it got. That's Bruce in the red jacket on the left.

That is very cool. A slant nose 930 is my dream car and I was thinking when I first started reading it was going to be a conversion or something but after reading full post am guessing that is the real deal for sure

Did he engage with you regards your car? Pity you couldn't have taken him for a spin and shown him what a nicely modified 944t can do!

we talked a little about my car, then he showed me a picture of his garage. It was a separate building beside his house, set up like a museum. 962,956,935, Copo Camaro and a helicopter hanging from the ceiling.
