Has anyone ever heard of the Brake Pad Retaining clip coming loose ?

Default Has anyone ever heard of the Brake Pad Retaining clip coming loose ?
I heard a squeal coming from the right front wheel ...
I had never hear it before last week....
I pulled the wheel and the noticed the stainless brake pad retaining clip had popped loose from the top mounting point !
Has anyone ever heard of this happening ??

No. Probably caused by way too much bling in the engine compartment and the brakes got jealous.

LOL you got my hopes up ...!
I was thinking this may have happened to someone else
I wonder if I put too much of that anti vibration crap in there and it caused the pads to kinda stick out
Ya know this stuff ....
