I believe stock length is 45mm so these would work:

If you are going to be interested in track days many require steel lugs, these will work even if the studs are really long.

I just run 285's.

Thanks Ron! I didn't see your post on top there :P At first glance, thought it was an ad with your car pics haha. I did notice those studs from paragon products but I guess I'll just wait for the wheels to arrive before doing anything

86 turbo running 996 turbo wheels. I had to roll the fenders. The bat and heat gun method did not work on this car. I had to use a 5 lb hammer. The heat gun and bat did work on my current 90 cab running the same wheels.

I'm not a big fan of adapters. Added load on the hub. If you want those wheels, then switch to late offset suspension.

It is uber difficult with the bat method. The bat method is used on cars where the fender is only one piece of metal. On the 944 the fender is sandwiched with an inner fender, so rolling the fender is not easy.

It would be easier if the sandwiching was a little further from the fender lip, but it is close enough to make it very hard to do with a bat and make it look good.

For the factory '88 S and '89 cars Porsche probably rolled the fender prior to welding in the inner fender.

Take care,

French Toast, about the offset, I believe you are mistaken. Only early offset (86 951) should be able to fit these 996 TT with Offset 45 in the rear and 11" wide. Azbanks somehow made it with his 90 Cab. As for the fenders, I will be using a fender roller afterall.

Did you need to replace the wheel studs on the rear? I have 7mm spacers now and still getting rubbing on the inside of fender. Need to go a little larger. Currently have 7 turns on wheel studs with the 7mm.

I ran these wheels on my 86. 15mm spacers and "rolled" rear fenders. I too had to hammer the lips (very carefully). 65mm studs do the trick. The fronts are up to personal taste. I liked 25mm adaptors and rolled lips.

I have solid of the same on my car. I didn't use any spacers for the rear 86 hub setup. And used 285 30 18. The front will need a 24mm spacer for the fronts if it's an 86 and can use 245 30 18.. The 87 could use a 7mm with the fronts and have to change the rear hubs with 86 like I did.
You will have to grind the corner ballance bolt and fold the lip by the upper torsion tube mount.
