Regarding the new head in 2011, actually only the head gasket was replaced. The head was fine at the time and no work was done to it. So this 951 has had it's original head and valves for about 140k miles. I certainly did my part in accelerating their demise by pushing the boost without checking the AFR.
Ok then it sounds like that could possibly be the issue. keep us updated

Hello everyone.

It's been nearly two months but I finally got my car back from the mechanic. The head has been completely rebuilt with original Porsche parts and I had a full tune-up completed.

However I am having a number of issues which I have detailed in a new post which you can find here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...errerid=124230

I would appreciate it if you all could read the post (it's a bit long, sorry) and see the videos and let me know what you think in the new thread.

Thank you all for your help. I truly appreciate it.
Igor
