Default TPS testing

As I was checking things out on Clark's garage I ran across the testing/adjustment procedure for the TPS, I double checked mine for fun and noticed that my TPS only clicks when opening the throttle, it doesn't click again when closing, Clark's says it should click right as throttle is opening and then again as it closes, Now I haven't noticed any issues while driving, But I do have a extra TPS sensor, Should I install a new sensor? What's the click when closing? Idle switch? Also does anyone have the pin out of the idle switch, clarks, only has the 3 wire one

Yes, the relay should make a click both when opening and closing of it...it isn't very loud closing though IIRC but I could hear it.

I tested mine both cold and hot (my running issues at the time were only when warmed up) and yes, it did fail when hot (put a hair dryer on high on it for about 5 minutes to warm it up and simulate a warm engine).

If you haven't noticed any issues then I wouldn't mess with it.....

I swapped it with the new one I had, we will see what happens as soon as I'm done with the Tbelt job
