299 is as high as the speedo reads even when the speed creeps a little higher, speedo error is probably at least +5% , They may "only" have been doing 280, the bike is good for a real 299 though.

thats a euro-spec Zx10, they run close to 200whp, and is in the 9's in the 1/4 mile which makes me think that Audi was pushing >600 hp to pull north of 300 kph

Bikes are about as aerodynamic as a brick. Also notice he does lift off on occasion.

At 160+ it's not all that surprising that the Audi can run with him. Supercharged V6 with a pulley and a tune and they move pretty damned good. The last supercharged A6 I drove (bone stock) was surprisingly quick.
