Yep, they really love boost and the stock rods/pistons can handle 400whp+
Only downside is the lack of aftermarket cams (which will remedied soon). The stock cams run out of air above 7k even though it's safe to rev to 8.5 with some valve springs.

The VW I5 is even smaller than the old Audi I5. 5.5" shorter at the bottom, 3" at the top. And the vw head stock outflows even the best headwork done to the audi one. Not to mention it's a lot cheaper and plentiful of an engine.

Tell your friends they will loose the bet and be patient. The guy is as honest as they come. Joshua should have more time in a week or two. He is finishing up his second engineering degree and has been extremely busy.

I'm from Germany too and I'm sure you'll get the Kit. You must be patient. I ordered my Kit in July 2013 and was a bit worried too, as it took some time to get it.
Don't forget shipping to Germany by USPS will take generally at least 10-14 days.

But once you have the Kit, this will transform your car.

By the way, I'm happy and glad to have such a nice support for our cars overseas.
In Germany I couldn't find something like that!!!
