I finally got my race car sorted out and fine tuned on the dyno. Just to compare with you guys that have 2.5L engines in the upper 300whp range to low 400whp what are you getting for torq?

What was the whp? Just trying to see how my number fit in with others with modded 2.5's.
I am picking the car up tomorrow and getting the dyno sheets.

Fully modded, but completely stock head/header/bottom end..Custom everything else. 360@17psi 410@23psi. Wheel HP. No idea on torque. Important notes; Using E-85 on a GT3076R.

Ok it looks like he did a nice job on the tune. I believe the numbers are 382whp and 356 torq at 1.2 bar but I will confirm that tomorrow. I am really happy with the torq number and he said with the S2 trans the rpms stayed in a nice range between shifts. So now if I can get some early track testing days next year (minus any driver brain farts) I can finally make it down to Texas World in March with the rest of the local racers. I keep hearing good things about the track.

Maybe I should make the trip down there with your old car? My brother is in Texas so I could kill 2 birds with one stone. I've been looking to race some tracks in Texas with a few other people I know there from So Cal.

Come on across the mountains anytime I would love to see my old car after the complete face and body lift. I'm sure it would get a lot off attention on and off the track with the work thats been put into it. If you happen to come this way before you head south to TX you can always camp out here if needed.

instead of comparing numbers, better off comparing torque curves IMO. But you cant assume the curve numbers are the same as some one else because different day, different temps and different dyno

n/a head, stock bottom end, GT3076 .82, biggish cam, stupid big downpipe-exhaust. Probably the cam and the exhaust wasn't ideal. Car was reasonably light at 2600lbs with half a tank no driver so it was still quick on the track.
Oh, the 2 different pulls were on the same dyno, same night, same boost (23psi) same fuel E85. All they did was change a couple of things on the dyno itself just to show me how easy it is to pick up 30 odd whp for nothing.
Just an exercise to show how dyno numbers can be manipulated.

Thanks for the info guys. Just thought it would be nice to compare others results.
333pg333 my chart looks similar to the one you put up. Will try to post up my chart when I get back in town next week.

Don't see that much point in comparing numbers outright. More the curve or the ratio between hp and tq. Otherwise too hard comparing dyno to dyno and all the other related inputs.
