Anybody use this "Headlight Protection Film (80 mil, pre-cut, pair) for Bosch H4 Lights AND Fog Lamps, 911 Carrera (1984-89)" from Pelican Parts for their headlights?
I've read in other posts that they may cause the headlight temp to become too high and therefore doing more damage to the lenses.
At $125 per Euro head lamp for my car I need to find a solution for stones cracking the lenses.

 

I have the films on my H4s and euro fogs for about year now and so far no issues. But I only drive the car once or twice a month so not using the lights on a regular basis...
