Yep looks similar - though mine didn't have any peanuts, just more expanded foam... And the foam was adhered to the box, making it really solid!

Actually if you burn some of those delicious cheesy snacks you will get a similar black plasticky result. Makes you think.....

LOL. I also got a block from Lart packaged like this. It took like an hour to get it out.

A typical Saturday has me in the garage occasionally running into the house to ask my wife to help me with the car in some quick way . She will say something like "right now?" And of course the answer is "Yes". She will roll her eye but always helps me.

Well, I live in the midwest and I can attest that burning things in the yard happens here and can be pretty dramatic. My neighbor decided that about 10 gallons of gas would be all that it would take to burn his "brushpile". The explosion was worthy of hollywood, I felt fortunate that my house was still standing

DioxinAnt if you tried this in Massatoosetts, you'd be well into your second year at Walpole about right now.

Joshua, thank you for a late night laugh. If you had bought it from the jerk in CT, it would have been wrapped in newspaper and dollar store scotch tape.

Well, after a few guys almost incinerating themselves I decided to made the package easier to open, in theory the block/tranny is wrapped with a plastic bag, all you have to to is cut the foam and pull away and it should tear the plastic bag leaving the part ready to use.

Lart - the post wasn't a shot at you... more-so it was a shot at myself

I thought your packaging method was really clever, and apparently it was more clever than I was

Fantastic story. I LMAO reading it. When I bought my house it had 7 1/2 acres and a huge pile of cut up pine trees. Long story short I used some old tires, a little gas and whoosh. I was lucky enough to out run the flames as they spread all over. It was too far for a couple of water hoses to stand by. Needless to say I had one heck of a bonfire. Yes, the sheriff showed up just to check as the neighbor down the street had called. He called the volunteer fire dept and told them not to come out. He est. the flames were at least 30 ft going straight up, no wind. He told me the next time to call the county fire dept to get a burn permit. We all have done stupid stunts that we remember very well. I know I've done more than my share in 72 years.

Cheers,
Larry
