Default Crankcase ventilation (Blow by) question

A friend of mine who is a respected racing mechanic told me to remove the oil separator return hose to the turbo inlet to increase power and reduce the possibility of detonation ping, etc.. His reasoning is completely correct as we don't want oil and crankcase vapors in the intake of the engine. However I'm curious if anyone has dynoed the car with and without the crankcase return and noticed a power increase. I have heard stories of oil dipsticks and crankshaft seals that were pushed out by high crankcase pressure because there is no vacuum.

Sounds like something I wouldn't do on a street car.

If you have enough blow by that it is causing a problem with too much oil in your intake then you have a bigger problem than figuring out what to do with your AOS piping!

An engine in good condition will not spew oil into the intake through the AOS.
