Default head gasket kit parts - what are these for?

I got the Victor Reinz head gasket kit - there was a small bag of gaskets and I'm not sure what their for. I've attached a couple pics. two large black rubber o-rings, six metal rings, an onion skin gasket, and a small white rubber o-ring. Can anybody clue me in?

Additionally, I've read on this forum about a small o-ring near the rear of the head but have no idea where this might be and want to make sure I get everything covered when I go to reassemble. Can anybody tell me where this might be?

Onion skin goes on the cam shaft snout. It'll weep oil without it.

Its been a few years since I've had an eight valve cam tower apart, but I recall the small white piece going in a hole on the front of the cam shaft housing.
