Default Problem with electric Power steering

I have tried searching but haven't found anything similar to my problem. I am using a Porsche Motorsport Electric PS pump from a cup car and have it on my 951 power steering rack. I am using it on my LS3 track only car. The problem is after a few laps the PS assist will go away during hard left cornering but come back after exiting the turn. The steering wheel angle this happens at is usually around the 90 degree mark. Once it starts during a session it happens on all tighter left handers.

The rack was a rebuilt rack this year. The right hand corners don't seem to be a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know what the stock rack pressures and flow requirements are?

Any help is appreciated.

Hard to tell with the noise but I am pretty certain the pump is running. I have checked all the wires for looseness etc and it is all pretty secure. I just don't know how the rack works and what could cause a one direction problem.
