Default Unknown hole

Hello; I have been trying to install my 86 951 motor and have come across a problem hole. It is located on the right bottom of the air/oil separator, the hole is not threaded and looks like it needs a plug or cap to cover it. Please look at the picture, and thank you in advance for everyone's input.

There are three or four open bosses that the factory used to lift/sit the blocks on while being put together.

the whole aft of the bottom AOS hole is the one you're referring to on the lower right?
