Default PET and Windows 7 64-bit

Did some searching and I guess I'm behind the times with PET - the latest version I have is PET 6. I tried installing both PET 5 and PET 6 but get a 'CRC error' and neither will install. I also read about incompatibility with 64-bit Windows 7, which I am running. Soooo, can anyone point me to a place I can download the latest version of PET that will run under 64-bit Windows 7?

I'm trying to get the head off today, have the cam tower off and just finished draining the coolant, but can't eye the hose going to the heater control valve that's supposed to come off - thought I'd check it out in PET, but.....

It's a bloody mess under my intake and I think one of my 'while I'm in there' things will be to clean up this mess and make sure everything is routed/connected properly.

I have a picture of that mess in my head r&r write up linked below. As for pet, right click and go to properties and run as administrator and/or in compatibility mode... Can't remember the exact trick, but it will work.

Thanks Tom, I forgot you had a head r&r write up. I'll check it out right now. I tried installing as administrator and with compatability set as both XP and 2000 but still got the error (PET 5 & PET 6).

PS - you do have a pic of what I needed to see - Thanks!!!

Still like to get PET going again though...

Pet is also available online these days... Glad the picture helped--it's like a rubix cube back there.

Found the online PET (but your pic was all I needed) - thanks again Tom!
