CHARITY GO KART RACE for those in NYC/NJ area.
With the blessings from John D., I want to invite the 951 community to our 3RD Annual Charity Go Kart Race, "Racers Against Leukodystrophy III".
It will be held at Pole Position Raceway in Jersey City, NJ, on Sunday of October 7th, 11AM. The entry fee is $75, of which 30% will be donated to United Leukodystrophy Foundation. Each driver will race a total of 3 times (2 qualifiers, and 1 main). We also have a Jr. Class for 7 to 11 year olds (48" to 58" height). Free BBQ'd lunch and plenty of prize giveaways. RACERS AGAINST LEUKODYSTROPHY CHARITY RACE III
United Leukodystrophy Foundation and Pole Position Raceway are teaming up to host the 3RD Annual Racers Against Leukodystrophy Charity Race (RAL III).
Leukodystrophy is a genetic disorder that affects the brain by disrupting the myelin sheath that insulates nerves. Most leukodystrophies are seen in children, and most are devastating fatal diseases. Currently, there is NO cure. Please come out and Help find a Cure for leukodystrophy!
Pole Position Raceway, one of the world's premier indoor karting tracks, is located minutes from NYC. (99 Caven Point Road, Jersey City, NJ 07305 / 201-333-7223)
The racing format will be Grand Prix; 2 Qualifiers and 1 Main event. Each participant will race total of 3 times. Trophy and Prizes will be given away to the Winners. BBQ'd lunch and drinks will be provided to all participants, and their family & friends. (Sponsored by TD Bank, NY Finance Association, AZP Installs, Coby Electronics, and RAL Volunteers).
The event is open to the public. However, participants MUST PRE-REGISTER. To register today, contact Jones Kim @ 718 930-3293 / JK_Racing@msn.com. The entry fee is $75, of which $22.50 will be donated to United Leukodystrophy Foundation.
