17x9 et 56 up front.... Will they clear m030 struts?
I am considering a set of 17' wheels for my 951 but I'm not sure if the fronts will work with that offset. The car they came off had bilstein coil overs instead of the m030 struts so the seller is not sure they will fit stock suspension...
I was going to try to run a 225/45 tire up front since I already have a new set, but can buy new tires if needed since 9" is stretching that size some....
Thanks...

Ok according to the rims tire size comparer guide going from a 16x7 et 60 to 17x9 et56 only adds 6mm to the wheel well. Back spacing goes from 6.3" to 7.2"....
Anybody?
I've read that max fitment for fronts is 18x9 et 52 but according to this guide they should fit....

The more neg, the less clearance there will be. I probably had about -2.0 to -2.5 when I tested 9s on the front of my stock 89T, and they rubbed pretty hard. But you dont need a lot of clearance, as there is not huge flex in the wheel or strut. 1/4" should be fine, which is why et55 works, and et60 does not. Also, due to the strut angle, a larger diameter wheel will have very slightly more clearance, so a 17" may give you another mm or so vs a 16".
