Default Air intake without maf kit? J boot replacement

Since my new to be stand alone computer uses a map sensor i don't want to use the standard filter but an open air filter. But i just don't seem to find an airintake to change the location of the filter. I want it behind the headlight.

Anyone who knows where to buy?

This type without the maf setup...

It replaced my j boot by a lindsey 3" j boot.

If you don't fabricate your own, you can get a metal j-pipe from a MAF kit (like the one in the picture) and then just cut a piece of straight pipe in the same diameter and attach it with a coupler. No real need for a lip since it is not under pressure there. Lots of places online sell piping, such as this place:

That does not work of you want to change the location of the filter.

Did you try rogue? You could also try to fab one using piping. Or maybe use the j-boot and see if you can connect the maf and the filter to that. How big is the maf? Is it just a pipe setup?

al you need is a straight 3" pipe from the turbo and a 45° elbo to that pipe that goes to the airfilter.

You can dump the blow off valve to atmosphere
You wont be using the cycling valve with a standalone
and you can just get a breather for the AOS

That will eliminate all the pipes from the intake pipe.

Dnovak was talking about making a maf tree that ur speaking of. Though I've been waiting over 6 months for mine. Maybe if we get a few more people we could make it worth his time

LR will sell you exactly what you need and only the part you need. I have bought two of them before. You cough up the money and have it the next day if you desire.

I bought mine from speed force racing. It was part of their blow thru MAF kit. But buy at your own risk now...as the don't seem to want to ship things in any sort of timely manner.

Thanks all.i tried lindsey racing but got a mail it won't work with the stock AFM. My mail that i don't use the stock AFM and just need the pipe with silicone coupling stays unanswered.

A straight pipe could be an option but i thought even with the stand alone a divertervalve would be prefered over the bov?

And i still use the cyclingvalve as a boostcontrol. I don't really like the manual boost control i had from lindsey.

I am in Bangkok tonight and had a few so shouldn't comment, but your first post says you have a stand alone and a Map sensor. Why are you using the stock MAF and cycling valve???
