Default 951 trans in 968?

I know there is plenty of info on a 968 trans in a 951, but what about the opposite? what would I need to do electrically, and what 951 parts would I need?

Got it. The list is long. Starts at the bell housing and goes back from there. Get a non LSD box 968 for the 968.

Since a 968 trans will bolt right onto a 944 torque tube, I see no reason why a 951 trans would not fit a 968 torque tube.
You should only need the 944 gear linkage and one 951 axle.
There is nothing to do for the speedo pick up since the speedo will still be fed with the signal from the ABS unit.

You are right. I was thinking what I had to do to my car to get everything to work. The 951 trans should bolt up, and just switch out the axles from each car. You could do just the one side, but while you are there I'd match components, assuming they are in good condition.
