Yep, it had to be a different map or tune. Wonder what injs it ran?do you know what dyno that was on, or still have the charts Chris?

It was on JME's old DTS at the shop I was at. I have a dyno chart but it is a faxed image of a bad print job. I will see if the graphic artist at work can repair it so you can actually read it.

Injectors are Bosch EV2's IIRC.

Thanks Chris, it would be interesting to see the charts.
What size are those injs?

Can't believe no one asked how the skull sticker came to be on this engine.

Good guess Patrick! lol

I quit working for the shop that originally built the car in Oct. of 08. The car was delivered not too long after that. One day I get an email from the owner of the car. He told me the engine was noisy and there was metal in the sump tank screen and he didn't know what to do and was not taking it back to the builder. I told him I would not get involved and referred him to Mike M. The last I heard, the car was at a third party shop and the engine removed. I can only assume the engine was then taken to Mike who repaired it and the third shop re-installed it. That is my guess.

In approximately June of 09, the car owner was arrested and charged with embezzling $1.1 million dollars from the company he worked for. There was an article in the Washington Post about his conviction and mentioned the car in the article. What happened to the car after that I don't know. I heard a rumor that it was being stored at the third shop for quite some time but can't verify that.

Seeing it on Ebay is the first time I saw the car in almost 4 years.

Not sure who bought it but for $30k it was a steal. It's kinda confused but I hope something good comes out of it. Thanks for some of the backstory Chris. Interesting.

Good to see you back on here Chris, it's been a while. I was wandering when you left that shop, looks like it wasn't too long after the last time I had my car in there. Are you at another shop now?

So any evidence to support the claims on the Video of over 700hp Chris?

I don't have any. The guy that shot the video is not the kind of guy to exaggerate. Do I think it is capable of that? Yes. Knowing what I know about the motor and the cams specifically.

I'll do some digging and see if there are any other dyno charts floating around. The one I have my graphic artist made a face when she saw it. She says she can make it more readable and even use color to ID each boost level but it will take some work. If she does it I will post the original and the repaired version.

That's interesting on the cams. Can you divulge anything?
