Hi,
I have a question for wheel experts.
I have an early offset turbo and would like to fit this wheel and tire combo that someone is selling local.
F 235/40/18 rim width is 8 inches offset 45
R 295/35/18 rim width is 11 inches offset 52
i would like to know two things
1. Spacer size for front and rear
2. Will i need to roll fenders.
Many thanks

I have an early turbo too and just did the exact same thing. My tire sizes are 225/40/18 and 285/30/18, but the offsets were identicle.
After trying a used set of 21mm Porsche spacers I bought, which were too wide for the rear, I decided to follow the advice of a fellow lister (Tedro).
Remove your existing wheels, stack 1/2" washers on at least 3 wheel studs and install your new wheel/tire combo (you may or may not be able to install your lug nuts as your wheel studs will now be too short). Keep adding or subtracting the washers until you get the wheels where you want them. Measure the stacks of washers and that should be the spacer thickness you need.
I ended up with 19mm front and 15mm rear. You might be different due to your slightly wider tire sizes. Since the Porsche spacers I bought would have to be machined to allow for the front hub/dustcap clearance on our early cars and I would have to buy 20 new wheel studs ($150.00 or so), I went with custom wheel adapters made by Adaptec. They were a pleasure to deal with and I can't say enough about there proffesionalism and the quality of the product. Lifetime warranty to boot.
Good luck and have fun!

You need to figure out the offset difference first then go from there.
