Will 10 x 17 Offset ET 25 Work on An Early 86 951?

Going by the numbers on the back of those wheels, it looks like the 10J rims are 23mm offset and the 7.5J rims are 25mm. Even with the identicle 23mm offset as original, I would think that the wider rim/tire combo would touch the fenders. Both the inner rim lip and outer rim lip will be moved about 25mm or 1" towards the suspension and the fender respectively.
