Best way to get sell / give away my 86 944T?
So I bought the car about quite some time ago to turn into a track car. 10 years, a marriage, 3 wonderful kids, a career, and multiple moves later it still sits in my garage collecting dust. The time has come to make some room but I have no idea what to do with the car so I am looking for some input from the experts.
The car has not been driven since 2003 (in fact I have driven it less than 20 miles since I bought it). The interior is basically junk. It has a Maaco paint job and hand painted black wheels. I did some work to it a long time ago, so long that I don't remember everything that I did. I remember doing new rod bearings. I also did a new suspension including 30mm torsion bars, koni adjustables, stiffer springs, camber plates, bushings, and ball joints. The body was in good shape until a tool box fell off a shelf onto the rear fender and left a large dent.
Parting it myself is out of the question because I don't have the time or space. Should I sell it as a parts car on eBay or the like? Should I just gift it to someone deserving that has the time to do something other than part it out?

Looks decent to me from just looking at the pix. Does it even runs from sitting too long? I would sell it for a few grand at least, assuming the interior is junk and it needs major maintenance work. What's the mileage and some interior as well as engine pix would help.

Either repair her or sell her to someone that will repair and get her back on the road. I am seeing too many being parted away, that could be put back in good shape with a little time and money.

I think this thread is the best way to get rid of it. There has to be someone on RL nearby who wants a project. Out of curiosity, why is it track only? Title issues? Still a great project, just curious.

Obviously the car should not be started at this time. The gas that may (or not) be left in the tank is 8 years old and the timing belt has not been changed in at least 10 years.
The title is clean and the car is complete. I bought the car for the sole purpose of racing in PCA which is why I didn't care about the interior or paint job. The thought at the time was to fix it up as time allowed but it was really bad timing. At this point if I ever have the time to get back into racing, I will probably buy a cup car anyway so it is time for this one to go. I looked up my old records and the last time I drove it was 2005. At that time it ran great but I'm sure there will be some issues arising from the extended storage period. It has been under a cover in a garage the whole time.
I don't know what options the car has for sure but I don't believe it has the LSD. The car has 156k miles on it. It has 400 lbs. springs in front, koni adjustable dampers, adjustable ride height, welt bushings, and camber plates. The rear has 30mm torsion bars, koni adjustable dampers, and welt bushings. I never had the chance to get an alignment after the suspension work so the front is extremely low and has about 5 degrees of negative camber right now.
To get it drivable I would expect that it needs a timing belt, water pump, 4 tires, alignment, fuel tank draining/cleaning, and new fluids.
I will try to get some more pics up tomorrow.
