yep, I nice lady landscaper backed-up with her trailer while I was putting air in my rear tires.
The trailer hit my right fender.
The insurrance company called me, she is responsible, I have no deductible to pay.
I'm meeting a body shop tomorrow... do you think they are going to replace the fender or will they just fix it with bondo??????

Damage that bad I would go with a good used fender. I hate any bondo on my car as the look is never the same as before, plus it cracks over time.

I just had my rear quarter fixed from a little hit an run. My dent mostly pushed out, but I am certain there was some sort of body filler used. However, it wasn't Bondo or any other plastic body filler. I wish I had listened more, but I thought it was more of a fiberglass type of a fill to get it smooth without using Bondo.
Anyway, there are better fillers than Bondo available now. Maybe some of our body shop experts could weigh in on this one. I am curious to hear the recommendation also. None of the shops I looked at were suggesting any sort of sheet metal replacement. What is the current standard and should we be suspicious like we are of Bondo?
