Default Which spindles do I have?

I don't mean the ones on my car, I have a set in a box in my garage and I can't remember how they got there. I know 86 and earlier is one type and 87 and later is another type, but then there is the Turbo S type and I am not sure how to tell which is which if I am looking at them on a workbench. Anyone know? Thanks.

radial vs axial brake mounting. m030's are radial

I believe the caliper bolt spacing is different on the 86 vs 87+ calipers too. 87+ being wider... Not sure of the exact dimension though.

Search user Xschop. He has all the measurements figured out, and they're all posted here somewhere.

Pics? If they're late model, non Mo30 I'll buy them if you're selling.

spacing for 86, 87 and 88 non s is the same, the difference between the 86 and 87 is spindle thickness and off course the turbo s calipers bolts to the top of the spindle all of the others on the back

first pic 87-88 non s
second pict 86
third pict 88-89 turbo s

Here are some pics. I got charlie arms a few years back but don't remember buying new spindles or exchanging them. I wonder if these were mixed in with my parts at the shop and sent home with me by accident at that time. If they are original to my car they are '87 but I'm not positive. They definitely not MO30 from the pictures above. Thanks Lart

do you mean the outer diameter at the thickest point of the spindle before the bearing seat (just so I'm sure) what should it measure?

Thanks, what should the OD measure? I don't have a proper caliper but I need one for a project on my boat so I will buy one and measure it.
