Default 968 tranny install in a 951 what do I need?

I have a 968 tranny and I want to install in a modded 951, I already have the 968 axles and the shifter rod, what else do I need? Also can I swapp my existing lsd into the 968 transaxle?

Tia

A new shifter that can count to 6, so he doesn't forget what gear he's in?

Pretty sure you'll need the speedometer adapter from Lindsey.

Mounts are the same, but if you're going through the trouble of pulling the transaxle you may want to do the polyurethane/window weld fill of the mount while you're in there.

The aluminium cross brace of the 968 will hit the 951 fuel tank - BTDT.

I'm 100% sure about the cross member and I know the fuel tanks are different butt I do not now if it's absolutly neccesary to put the 968 fuel tank in.

The 968 tank apparently has a recess upwards so it should work with both cross braces, but the 944 tank will work only with the 944 cross brace.

I don't know for sure, but I'd be very surprised if a 944/951 lsd would bolt on to a 968 transaxle.
